Girls, what size is your bag?

Whether you’re in Malaysia or outside, before you grab a bag from the selections in the KLCC Isetan or SOGO bag display and dash off to the cash counter, read the guide on how to find just the right bag size for you:

1. If you’re tall and thin.

Well, you have the most advantage of all. Basically, tall and thin girls can get away with bags of almost any size. Even oversize bags look great on your shoulder. But remember, don’t be overly obsessed with those very, very tiny and little bags. It will make you look bigger. Think about proportions when you’re choosing a bag – something mid size or larger will be best, unless you’re choosing a shoulder bag, in which case make sure it fits snugly under your arm.

2. If you’re small and petite.

Small girls need to watch the size of a bag more than anyone. Always make sure that the size of the bag is proportionate to your size body. Smaller bags will work better for you. Keep the bags small and snug close to your body. Otherwise, you will look like a tiny potatoe.

3. If you’re top heavy.

Not a very nice situation, but not too worry too much, there’s always remedy to it. You’re considered ‘top heavy’ if you have slim and long feet but a rather big tummy. Try considering buying mesenger bag, or a handbag. Shoulder bags will draw attention to your tummy and chest, and this is the last thing you want to have. However, if you’re determine to have a shoulder bag, get one with a long strap, and is slightly large in size.

4. If you’re curvy all over.

Your best solution is the shoulder bag. Something that hits right about the waist will be most attractive. Just remember to avoid any bag that is too small, or too large in size.

5. If you’re a plus size.

The trick if you’re being a plus size is to avoid bags that are really small and cute in size. They will exaggerate your look and you will appear bigger than your real size. Shoulder bags can look awkward on you if they’re too small, so try and go for styles that are wider in width, like a hobo bag.
